For several months, area residents have been enduring the hazardous practice, which poses a serious threat to their health.

Sewage now flows through areas where food and vegetable stalls are located, as well as private residences. Consequently, the foul odor in many streets has intensified.

The tenants of four of the houses which were raided have since been given 14 days to vacate the premises in line with public health laws.
