2 Killed In Baringo In Bandit Attack As Schools Are Closed

Two people have been shot dead and schools closed following bandit attacks in Ngaratuko, Baringo County.

According to an official statement, those killed include a reserve policeman and a university student.

Baringo Governor Benjamin Cheboi and North Baringo MP Joseph Makilap condemned the attacks saying they were a major blow to the peace efforts that have been ongoing for the past six months.

The banditry attack comes two days after Defense CS Aden Duale and Roads CS Kipchumba Murkomen visited the region to unveil peace projects in Kerio Valley.
