Three people were arrested in connection with an attempted robbery at 36 Dandora Phase 1.
The three were apprehended on Thursday night after they were found digging through a wall to gain access to the Karia supermarket via a house they had rented next to the supermarket.
According to police commander Francis Ngugi, the three were ambushed after another person they had robbed in another location recognized one of them while shopping outside near the building they had rented and reported it to the nearby police station.
There was nothing else in the house except wall demolition equipment.
The arrest of the three has also been described as a significant breakthrough in the hunt for these suspects, who are said to have committed these crimes in a variety of places.
The three, one of whom was middle-aged, are said to be from Nakuru, Dandora, and Muranga.
