A 50-year-old man has been found dead in his own home, and his head decapitated.Â
Ebusiekwe Emukolla’s body was discovered after his colleagues reported him missing from work, according to Emuhaya Deputy County Commissioner Chuk Masau.
“The deceased’s brother went to find out why his brother hadn’t woken up only to discover that his brother had been killed,” Masua told local media.
Police are yet to recover Emukolla’s head and urged locals with knowledge about the odd homicide to contact the authorities.
“The murders of Esilaba may be persons on a revenge mission or inspired by powers of evil but these are merely theories because investigations are continuing to discover the exact cause of this tragic killing.
The corpse of the deceased has already been taken to the Coptic Hospital mortuary in Maseno for storage.
