8 Students Arrested For Attempting To Burn Down School Dormitory

Eight boys from Bishop Atundo Boys High School in Kimaeti, Bungoma County, have been detained for attempting to set fire to the school dormitory.

According to a report to the police, the school’s principal, Francis Nasila, said that the eight suspects planned the felony on Friday night.

Officers from Myanga police station and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) investigated the school and discovered the dormitory was splattered with petrol.

A two-liter empty plastic bottle smelling of petrol and a matchbox were discovered in the dormitory.

The eight suspects will be arraigned in court on Monday.
