An alleged car fraudster was today arraigned in a Nairobi Court over conspiracy to defraud contrary to section 317 of the Penal Code.
According to the Prosecution, Elijah Otieno Ogallo on diverse dates between October 2, and 13th, 2023 in South B Rameo Court in Nairobi with others not before Court conspired to defraud Justus Katu Munyao Ksh 1,345,000 by falsely pretending that he was in a position to incorporate the said Justus to sell biodegradable oil.
He also faced another count of obtaining Ksh 1,345,000 from the same complainant pretending he would help him secure market for the sell of his biodegradable oil.
Appearing before Magistrate Robinson Ondieki in Milimani Law Courts, the accused denied the charges and was released on Ksh 800,000 bond with an alternative cash bail of Ksh 500,000.
