Archbishop Anthony Muheria has issued a powerful warning to President William Ruto, calling for urgent attention to pressing issues raised by the Kenyan populace.
He underscored that the stability and unity of the nation hinge on the government’s responsiveness to its citizens.
In a recent statement, Archbishop Muheria emphasized that the grievances of Kenyans should not be underestimated.
“The voice of the people is the voice of God,” he declared, highlighting the necessity for the government to actively listen to its constituents.
He cautioned that ignoring the concerns of the public would only exacerbate discontent and deepen divisions within the country.
The Archbishop’s remarks come at a time of escalated political unrest and widespread protests over various socio-economic challenges affecting many Kenyans. Muheria encouraged President Ruto to engage in meaningful dialogue with all stakeholders to reach sustainable solutions.
“Failure to listen to the people will not only deepen existing divisions but also jeopardize the progress and peace we have worked so hard to achieve,”
Muheria warned. His message calls for immediate and tangible actions from the government, aimed at fostering a spirit of unity and cooperation among citizens.
