An online business lady has been arraigned in Court for allegedly conspiring to flash a stolen mobile phone.
Caroline Omung’ala who appeared in court sobbing, informed court that a client approached her and requested to use services of her cyber and little did she know that he was using her machine to flash a stolen phone.
Caroline is charged alongside Ahmed Anyanga Kutswa that on July 1, 2024 at Ngara Estate conspired to steal a mobile phone make S24 Ultra, value at Ksh 239,000 the property of Watu Credit.
Ahmed Anyanga Kutswa was separately charged that on December 5, 2023 at Hill park building stole a Samsung Phone A24 valued at Ksh 40,000 the property of Watu Credit.
Appearing before Magistrate Ndombi, the two accused persons denied the charges.
However, it was the court’s pronunciation that the two will have to secure their liberty by paying a cash bail of Ksh 150,000 that made Caroline cry uncontrollably saying that she never knew that Ahmed Anyanga Kutswa was using her computer to flash a stolen phone.
