Senior adviser in the Council of Economic Advisers Moses Kuria on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, met with David Ndii, chair of the President’s Council of Advisors, following his recent appointment as a senior adviser.
Taking to his official X account, the former Public Service Cabinet Secretary (CS) revealed that he spent four straight hours engaged in discussions with Ndii regarding the implementation of the Bottom-Up Economic Agenda (BETA) under President William Ruto‘s broad based government.
“This morning, I have spent 4 hours aligning thoughts on the way forward with David Ndii. We are upbeat about the journey ahead,” said Kuria

In his statement Kuria expressed optimism about the journey ahead, stating that the design phase of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation was now complete.
“The design phase of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation is over,” said the former Cabinet Secretary.
Additionally, he explained that the current challenge lies in the effective implementation of the BETA plan and ensuring its delivery to the citizens, he emphasized that with proper execution, double-digit growth can be achieved in the near term.
“The challenge now is to accelerate taking the product to the market, with proper execution there is no reason why we should not achieve double digit growth in the near term.”
