‘You can only Remove DP Gachagua through Prayers!’ Pastor Dorcas Tells off MPs

Pastor Dorcas Gachagua, wife of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, addressed the looming impeachment motion against her husband during an event at Maximum Miracle Centre in Nairobi.

She criticized those advancing talks of impeachment, suggesting that some people still have difficulty accepting Gachagua’s position as the Deputy President of Kenya.

Dorcas attributed her husband’s political challenges to his forthright nature, which she believes may be contributing to the current tensions.

She emphasized that Gachagua, often referred to as “the real G” or “the truthful man,” was lawfully sworn in and prayed for on the altar during his inauguration.

‘’I have a man that I love. Many of you call him the real G, others call him the truthful man. He is the deputy president of the Republic of Kenya where many people have a problem believing that yet he was sworn in. He was prayed for on the altar,’’ Dorcas stated.

She dismissed the impeachment process, which is set to be tabled in Parliament on Tuesday, stating that her husband could only be removed from office through the same prayers that blessed his assumption of the role.

Pastor Dorcas encouraged her husband to remain steadfast, undistracted by efforts to oust him from government, affirming her faith in divine intervention.

She urged the public to remember that only the “Lord of vengeance” could fight for Gachagua.

‘’One who was prayed for on the altar can only be removed by the same altar. Tell them to fear not, the Lord God Almighty, the Lord of vengeance will fight for you,’’ she added.

The impeachment motion has emerged amidst a political rift within the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), where Gachagua is accused of promoting ethnic-based politics and undermining President William Ruto.

Proponents of the motion allege that Gachagua’s efforts to unify the Mt. Kenya region are divisive and detract from his national duties.
