Safaricom’s ‘Wai Ndai’ Challenge Rewards Two Winners with New Cars

Safaricom has awarded two lucky winners brand-new Suzuki Alto cars in its ongoing ‘Wai Ndai’ Challenge, a gaming competition that has attracted over 200,000 participants nationwide.

The first grand prize winners, John Maina, 34, from Naivasha, Nakuru County, and Paul Njihia, 32, a gamer from Ruiru, Kiambu County, received their cars after emerging victorious in the challenge, which features puzzles, arcade, and action games. The competition offers daily cash prizes and a monthly grand prize of a brand-new Suzuki Alto, with one more car still up for grabs before the challenge ends on February 18, 2025.

Expressing his excitement, John Maina said, “I am grateful to Safaricom for this opportunity. This car will greatly improve my mobility and support my business, especially during these tough economic times.”

Speaking during the handover ceremony, Fawzia Ali, Safaricom’s Chief Consumer Business Officer, stated, “Through the ‘Wai Ndai’ Challenge, our goal is to engage the youth with an exciting gaming experience while giving them a chance to win great rewards.”

Participants can join the challenge via https://sc.wineazy.com, MySafaricom app, or by dialing **USSD 555# or 499# for as little as KES 10 per day. Daily winners can also take home cash vouchers worth KES 3,000, KES 2,000, and KES 1,000.

The ‘Wai Ndai’ challenge is part of Safaricom Hook, an initiative aimed at empowering the youth through technology. This campaign falls under the Culture Hook, which encourages young people to pursue their passions, including gaming.

With one more Suzuki Alto yet to be won, Safaricom urges gamers across the country to take part before the challenge ends.
