Detectives in Embakasi have launched investigations into the gruesome murder of a young woman, who was reportedly strangled to death by two unidentified men in the Jua Kali area of Embakasi, Nairobi.
According to reports, the horrifying incident occurred around midnight, with three local residents raising the alarm after responding to a distress call.
The witnesses reported hearing a commotion near their homes and rushed to the scene, only to find two men allegedly assaulting the victim. However, the suspects fled into the darkness upon realizing they had been spotted.
The witnesses immediately reported the incident to Embakasi Police Station, prompting officers, including a team from the Nairobi Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) unit, to visit the location.

Her undergarments had been lowered, and visible strangulation marks were found on her neck, pointing to the possibility of sexual violence before the murder.
