Popular Kenyan content creator and comedian David Oyando, known widely as Mulamwah, is counting his blessings after narrowly escaping a road accident unscathed.
The entertainer took to social media on Friday to recount the harrowing incident, which he said “happened so fast,” sharing photos of his recently acquired Mercedes-Benz, visibly damaged from the crash.
“We are grateful to God no one was injured,” he wrote, calling the outcome nothing short of a miracle.
The accident came at a turbulent personal time for Mulamwah, who has been embroiled in a highly publicized fallout with his baby mama, fellow content creator Ruth K.
The drama, which captured national attention, included public spats, emotional confessions, and bizarre accusations—including Mulamwah’s demand for the return of a missing tooth.
However, the duo now appears to be moving towards reconciliation. Both issued heartfelt apologies, acknowledging their faults and vowing to do better for the sake of their child and fans.
“I have retraced my steps… I forgive you. Hope you forgive too,” Mulamwah said in his post, where he admitted that emotional decisions had caused unnecessary pain. He urged fans to pray for them and expressed a desire to focus on work and future growth.
Ruth K’s apology was equally moving, touching on her struggles as a young mother. “Behind the scenes, I’ve been going through a quiet storm… I’m not perfect, but I’m learning,” she wrote. She called her apology the beginning of a new chapter.
Kenyan celebrities also waded into the conversation. Musician Bahati urged the two to handle their issues privately, writing, “Please get this off social media… May God restore what they have lost.” Comedian Terence Creative offered support, posting, “We forgive and pray for you.”
With the accident behind him and the public feud seemingly resolved, Mulamwah may now be entering a much-needed season of healing—both on and off the road.
