Newly discovered photographs and video footage have revived scrutiny of former President Donald Trump’s past relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The materials, uncovered by CNN’s KFile during a review of archival media from the 1990s, offer new insights into the social proximity of the two men before Epstein’s legal troubles became public.
For the first time, photos confirm that Epstein attended Trump’s 1993 wedding to Marla Maples at the Plaza Hotel in New York. Though both men were known to travel in elite social circles, Epstein’s presence at the high-profile wedding had not been widely reported until now. One image shows Epstein smiling in the background between other guests, while another captures him entering the venue.

Footage from a 1999 Victoria’s Secret fashion show also shows Trump and Epstein together, laughing and conversing before the event. The video adds to earlier evidence of their shared attendance at events, including a 1997 Angels party and social functions at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.
Trump and Epstein’s relationship reportedly began in the 1980s, marked by regular appearances at events in New York and Palm Beach. While Trump has never been accused of any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein, the newly surfaced visuals have reignited public interest, especially as the Department of Justice faces growing pressure to release sealed files related to Epstein’s co-conspirators.

In a brief phone exchange with CNN, Trump dismissed the revelations, calling the network “fake news” before ending the call. White House Communications Director Steven Cheung downplayed the materials, calling them “innocuous” and saying they were being used “to disgustingly infer something nefarious.”
While Trump previously described Epstein as a “terrific guy” in a 2002 New York Magazine profile, their friendship reportedly ended in the mid-2000s after a real estate dispute. Nonetheless, Trump flew on Epstein’s private jet several times and appears in multiple photographs with Epstein and his associates, including Ghislaine Maxwell and Prince Andrew.
The resurfacing of these images follows the Justice Department’s controversial decision not to release long-promised Epstein files. That decision has drawn backlash even from within Trump’s MAGA base, many of whom expected explosive disclosures about Epstein’s powerful connections.
Amid mounting calls for transparency, the DOJ has reached out to Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking, for a possible meeting. Maxwell’s attorney confirmed discussions with the government, stating she “will always testify truthfully.”
Trump has denied any involvement in Epstein’s crimes and recently filed a libel lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal over a report claiming he sent a risqué birthday note to Epstein in 2003. The note, allegedly bearing Trump’s name, included an outline of a naked woman and concluded with, “May every day be another wonderful secret.”
As pressure builds on federal authorities to unseal Epstein-related documents, the revelations mark a new chapter in the ongoing public reckoning with one of the most infamous scandals in modern U.S. history.
