A team of officers from Mtwapa Police Station, led by the Officer Commanding the Station (OCS), conducted an intelligence-led operation targeting suspected stolen goods in the Kasarani area of Mtwapa Township, Kilifi County.
According to the National Police Service (NPS), the officers successfully arrested three suspects and recovered items believed to be stolen.
The items include;4 tablets, 25 mobile phones of different brands, 18 gas cylinders,10 assorted watches, 7 TV sets, 2 grinders and 2 blenders.
“Additional recovered items comprised 2 digital scales, 1 baby walker, assorted utensils, clothing, cables, and local and foreign currencies in various denominations,” the NPS said.
The suspects were taken to Mtwapa Police Station pending processing and arraignment, while the recovered items were secured at the same facility.
“National Police Service remains resolute in its commitment to combating crime and commends the public for providing information that led to the successful arrests and recovery,” it added.
