Nelson Ibrahim Kidero, also known as Nelson Muriithi, has pleaded guilty to charges of unlawful entry into Parliament, contrary to Section 31(a) of the Parliamentary Powers and Privileges Act.

He was presented on Friday before Principal Magistrate Ben Mark Ekhubi at the Milimani Law Courts.

According to a charge sheet filed before the Milimani Law Courts, Nelson Ibrahim Kidero, also known as Nelson Muriithi, was arrested on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at around 11:30 a.m. in the parking area of Bunge Towers without lawful authority.

The prosecution stated that Kidero’s actions contravened Section 31(a) as read with Section 31(2) of the Parliamentary Powers and Privileges Act, 2017, which prohibits unauthorized access to restricted parliamentary premises.

In court, Kidero admitted to having jumped over the perimeter fence three times. He told the court that he was on a mission to search for his 13 wives, claiming that three were inside the Parliament building while the other ten were in the courtroom.

He went on to name some of his alleged wives, including popular TikToker Miss Njagi, Kenyan socialite Amber Ray, and another woman simply identified as Mary, saying the rest “know themselves.”

The courtroom was further thrown into surprise when Kidero turned to the Magistrate and remarked that he looked very handsome.

The prosecution has requested that Kidero be taken to Mathare Hospital for a mental assessment, seeking 14 days for the evaluation.
