Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka is expected to be sidelined for up to four weeks after suffering a hamstring injury during the club’s 5–0 win over Leeds United.
Manager Mikel Arteta confirmed that Saka’s withdrawal from the match was injury-related, describing the setback as “significant” but not long-term. Reports suggest the 23-year-old could miss three to four weeks of action, though further medical assessments will determine the exact recovery timeline.
According to The Times, initial scans show the injury is less severe than feared, raising hopes of an earlier return. Still, Arsenal are expected to manage his recovery cautiously.
Saka’s absence is a major blow for the Gunners, who face a congested run of domestic and European fixtures. Arteta, however, emphasized that the squad’s depth and adaptability would be crucial in covering for the England international, saying: “The replacement of Saka is going to be the team.”
