A law enforcement operation in Utawala, Nairobi County, has led to the arrest of one individual and the recovery of a firearm.
Detectives from Embakasi Sub-County, acting on intelligence reports, apprehended the suspect, identified as Brown Carlos Butrose Kombo.
During the raid at a residence in Kelvin Heights, officers recovered a Glock pistol loaded with seventeen rounds of ammunition, which had been concealed inside a refrigerator.
The scene was carefully processed, and all exhibits were secured for further investigation.
The suspect has been placed in custody and is awaiting arraignment.
Authorities have emphasized that the operation was conducted as part of ongoing efforts to curb illegal firearms and ensure public safety in Nairobi County.
