Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire, Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura, and Principal Secretary for Health Mary Muthoni joined senior officials from the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) and other state agencies for a citizen engagement forum held at Kangaru School, Embu County.

The session, attended by KeNHA Board Chairperson Winfrida Ngumi, Board Member Rosemary Wanjiru, and Central Regional Director Eng. Francis Kimata, provided a platform for residents to raise concerns about road infrastructure, receive updates on ongoing projects, and learn about future development plans in the region.
KeNHA reaffirmed its commitment to delivering quality road networks that enhance connectivity, boost trade, and support local economic growth.
In line with the government’s climate action agenda, the Authority also donated 5,000 tree seedlings to support the national tree-planting campaign and promote environmental sustainability.
