The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) has vowed to deal decisively with anyone engaging in corruption during the upcoming recruitment exercise scheduled for October 23 to October 25.
In a statement published on their official site, meant to update the country and interested candidates on the recruitment process that will be conducted in various parts of the country, KDF cautioned participants against attempting to bribe in order to influence their selection or inclusion into the force.
They warned that anyone caught engaging in such malpractice will be arrested, prosecuted, and automatically disqualified from securing a slot in the military.
KDF further urged Kenyans to report any incidents of corruption to the relevant authorities for action. They emphasised that the recruitment drive is FREE and OPEN to all eligible and qualified candidates.
Engaging in bribery or any other form of corruption with the intent to influence the recruitment process is a criminal offence, and perpetrators will face prosecution.
