Two Suspects Arrested with 64 Rolls of Bhang in Kamukunji, Nairobi County

Police officers from Kamukunji Police Station have arrested two suspects found in possession of sixty-four rolls of cannabis during an intelligence-led operation in the Ziwani area of Kamukunji, Nairobi County.

According to a statement issued by the National Police Service (NPS), the operation was conducted on October 10, 2025, as part of ongoing efforts to curb the trafficking and use of narcotic drugs within the city.

The two suspects were apprehended at the scene and taken to Kamukunji Police Station for processing.

Authorities confirmed that the recovered cannabis was secured as an exhibit and will be presented in court as evidence. The suspects are expected to be arraigned once investigations and necessary procedures are completed.

The NPS commended the officers involved for their diligence and commitment to combating drug-related offenses, emphasizing the Service’s continued resolve to rid communities of illegal substances.

The police have also urged members of the public to cooperate by sharing information that could help identify and dismantle networks involved in the sale and distribution of narcotics across the country.
