Royal Media Services (RMS) Chairman SK Macharia and Deputy President Kithure Kindiki were among top leaders who attended a boda boda empowerment drive in Siaya County on Monday, October 13, 2025, where they made major donations.
Macharia, while addressing residents, assured Kenyans that Raila was in good health after speaking to him directly on phone. “Raila is healthy and will come back soon,” he said, noting that the ODM leader had made significant recovery and was expected to return home within days.
Earlier, Siaya Senator Oburu Oginga, Raila’s elder brother, had recently clarified that Raila was “slightly indisposed but recuperating” while resting abroad
During the event, DP Kindiki and Macharia each donated millions of shillings to support the boda boda empowerment initiative, which aims to boost youth livelihoods through affordable financing, training, and safety programs.
