Suspect Arrested with 30 Rolls of Cannabis in Nakuru County

Police officers from Temoyetta Police Station in Nakuru County on Monday, October 20, 2025, arrested a suspect found in possession of cannabis at Kamure shopping centre.

According to a statement from the National Police Service (NPS), the arrest followed an intelligence tip-off from members of the public. Officers swiftly moved to the location, where they apprehended the suspect and conducted a search, recovering 30 rolls of cannabis.

The suspect was taken to Temoyetta Police Station, where he was booked and remains in custody pending arraignment in court. The recovered drugs have been secured as exhibits to support the prosecution.

The NPS commended members of the public for their vigilance and cooperation with law enforcement agencies in the ongoing fight against illicit drugs and related criminal activities.

Authorities have reiterated their commitment to intensifying operations targeting the sale and distribution of narcotics across the country.
