The top team from the weekend’s action will join the 35 other teams that have already booked their slots in the tour’s grand finale, which is slated for December 5, 2025, at a venue yet to be determined.

Speaking ahead of the much-awaited tourney, Vetlab Sports Club Captain Eric Karuga said: “We are eager to take on the course this weekend for the KCB Golf Tournament. Our course is in its absolute best condition, and our green master has been working extremely hard to ensure that we are ready to host an event of this magnitude. As a Club, we are grateful for the opportunity to always be part of this regional event that has played a crucial role in fostering a golfing culture in Kenya and beyond.”

Recently, at the Limuru Country Club, two teams qualified for the grand finale. They include Kim Kimura, Francis Kimani, Joseph Ikanyi, Paul Kahura, Hakeem Mutungi, Njoroge Munyua, Jim Gathuna, and Joseph Kung’u.

“We are approaching the grand finale. I know the competition is getting tougher as everyone would wish to be part of the amateur event in December. Our focus is to keep elevating this game to an elite level, democratize it, and foster regional unity in line with our brand purpose, For People. For Better,” noted KCB Group Director Marketing and Communications Rosalind Gichuru.

Regionally, the series has traversed Burundi, Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda, underscoring KCB’s commitment to the growth of the game in East Africa. Additionally, the tour has impacted over 2,000 juniors through the golf clinics that run concurrently with the amateur tournaments.

Having held caddie tournaments in Nakuru and Nyeri Counties, KCB will host yet another caddie event on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Vetlab before conducting another one at Migaa Golf Course next month, in a bid to onboard everyone as part of the 2025 edition.
