Police have launched investigations after a man was found dead under unclear circumstances inside a parked car at a petrol station in Nairobi on Monday.
Witnesses said the vehicle had been stationed at the premises for most of the day, raising concern among attendants and security guards. When they noticed the occupant had not moved for hours, they approached the car to check on him.
After repeated attempts to wake him failed, staff raised the alarm. They said the man’s skin appeared unusually pale, prompting fears that he might be dead.
Officers from Gigiri Police Station responded to the call and confirmed that the occupant, later identified as Moses N. K., had died. Preliminary findings indicated that he had been dead for several hours before discovery.
The body was moved to Kiara Mortuary, where a post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
Authorities have not disclosed further details pending investigations and notification of the family.
