Former Lugari MP Enoch Kibunguchy has died at the age of 72 while receiving treatment at a hospital in Eldoret.
Kibunguchy served for two terms in parliament, as the Lugari MP between 2002 and 2007 and later the founding Likuyani MP between 2013 and 2017. His death came exactly ten days after that of his predecessor in the Lugari Constituency, the late Cyrus Jirongo died on road accident.

During his political career, Kibunguchy worked with several political parties, including FORD-Kenya, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), and most recently, the Democratic Action Party of Kenya (DAP-K), which he joined later this year.
Apart from serving as an MP Kibunguncy served as at the Assistance Director of Medical Services at the Ministry of Health.
