Former Kilgoris Member of Parliament and veteran Cabinet Minister Gideon Sitelu Konchellah has passed away.
Family sources confirm that the long-serving legislator suffered a sudden cardiac arrest earlier today, Saturday, June 13, 2026. Despite emergency medical intervention, he could not be resuscitated.Konchellah served the people of Kilgoris Constituency in Narok County for nearly two decades between 2003 and 2022.
He was widely recognized as a fierce defender of the Maasai community’s land rights and socio-economic development.
