VIDEO – Agriculture CS Peter Munya takes on Ruto camp for opposing the BBI

Party of National Unity (PNU) has endorsed the constitutional amendment bill 2020, fronted by the Building Bridges Initiative.-By Enock Mukoma

In attendance at the party headquarters, was former party leader and current CS Peter Munya. He called on Kenyans to fully support the process as it has the interests of the people

Munya said that a prime minister government had been tested before and it worked for the country during the Coalition government.

“We have done experiment with the position of prime minister and it worked during the grand coalition government under the national accord, the country’s economy grew, the GDP was steady and we know”

He also dismissed a multiple choice format of referendum and urged a yes no format on the whole bill

He took issue with those opposing document, citing that they are enemies of unity

Since the incoming of the hand shake the Country has experienced relative calmness and since our leader the president supports the BBi for prosperity and peace we all chose to support it” Munya said.

He also took issue with those who advocate that BBI due to the pandemic saying nations have gone to elections in the midst of the pandemic and Kenya is no different.

PNU as a party we are strong and growing to all corners of the country and intends to open up offices from across the country.

Kisii leaders thanked him for the reforms he has steered in the tea sector and the agriculture ministry.

PNU will be opening offices across the country as it seeks to strengthen.
