Inter Milan may be finalizing a deal to offer Christian Eriksen to Arsenal as part of a deal for the Gunners midfielder Granit Xhaka.
Eriksen’s form has been generally poor for the Italian giants. For instance, He has only played six minutes of league football for Inter since the end of October.
He is expected to leave San Siro during the January 2021 transfer window.
Inter Milan had placed a £27m asking price on Eriksen but view a swap deal as an alternative as they look to move the playmaker on next month.
Despite making several appearances in England, Xhaka’s performances have been criticised amid a difficult start for Mikel Arteta’s team.
Xhaka was appointed as the captain but eventually took a a tantrum on the field which involved publicly disrespecting his manager before swearing at the fans.
He was however let in Arteta’s line up and has arguably not had much to show.
