Two children are nursing injuries after their former house help attacked the with a knife at Greenfields Estate in Donholm. – By John Mutiso.
The children were reportedly playing outside before the house help by the name Gladys Naliaka came and attacked them with a knife.
Karen the children’s mother says that her children suffered deep cuts in the face after the attack and are currently at the Nairobi Metropolitan Hospital.
“These are my two boys who have been stabbed and they have deep cuts. They have been stabbed by my former house help,” said Karen the mother of the boys.
A neighbour says that the house help who had worked for the woman for two years felt aggrieved after her boss let her go.
“Apparently this housegirl is called Gladys Naliaka and mama Maina has stayed with her for two years and being paid a salary of Ksh. 15,000, she had pain and she did not want to leave and she actually threatened mama Maina,” said the neighbour called Julliet.
The family is now appealing to anyone with the whereabouts of the girl to alert them.
“We are appealing to anyone who has seen this girl to give us a call. We will be very happy to see her arrested,” she stated.
