The Orange Democratic Movement has castigated Deputy President William Ruto and allies in an ongoing corruption tiff.
On Saturday, Raila Odinga sounded a warning that if they be elected into government, ODM will jail all corrupt individuals.
“These corrupt leaders fly around in helicopters dishing out millions in donations. If we taste government, we will jail all of them in Shimo La Tewa prisons.” Raila said.
On Sunday, DP Ruto condemned ODM Leader Raila Odinga over his statements regarding corruption.
“Those who want to jail the corrupt have now gone into the government and stole from the sick, using the COVID-19 billions.”
ODM Leader of Minority John Mbadi laughed off the allegations saying that DP Ruto was acting out of fear.
“Who has mentioned you. I did not hear Raila Odinga mention your name as a corrupt leader.” Badi remarked.
“We are wondering why he is the first one to condemn Raila yet he was not mentioned. And what has he done to stop the corrupt ones. “ he added.
The row saw allies to the deputy president engage in heated campaigns against ODM’s stand on corruption.
