The government has launched a Targeted Review of the Big Four Agenda projects in collaboration with the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD).
This will be to assess progress and provide accurate and authentic analysis needed to address implementation difficulties.
NEPAD will conduct the review as part of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) to identify key issues in the four broad sectors of affordable housing, manufacturing expansion, food security and nutrition, and affordable healthcare to ensure that the country meets its economic and social development goals.
The review, which will take place in all 47 countries from November 29 to December 19, will result in a detailed report that will be peer reviewed at the African Heads of States Forum in February next year.

National Treasury and Planning Chief Administrative Secretary, Eric Wafukho, said during the launch in Naivasha that the independent reviews, which will be conducted by a team of African Union member states, will assess government programs.
The Reviews, according to Wafukho, will cover major governance concerns such as fighting corruption, young unemployment, gender inequity, and diversity management.
Kenyans will have the opportunity to submit their views and ideas to the secretariat on the implementation of the Big Four Agenda throughout the review period, according to the CAS.
He went on to say that the agendas aim to offer decent jobs, cheap healthcare, lower the cost of living, and reduce poverty.
