Obado Trial: Witness Recounts Sharon’s Abduction

Three witnesses in a murder trial implicating Migori Governor Okoth Obado testified today before lady Justice Cecilia Githua.

Doctor Harun Diero Ajwag one of the prosecution witness told the Court that he on 15th August 2019 signed the P3 form of a person identified as XYZ who is also said to have been abducted together with late Sharon.

XYZ is said to have jumped from a vehicle accelerating at a speed of 80 KPH. 

“According to the booklet that I wrote September 2018, the nature of the wounds was soft tissue injuries” said the Doctor.

According to PC Ole Tuwai and PC Leselel also prosecution witnesses is that XYZ had bruises on both hands and knees when they took him to hospital.

Further, the late OCS George Kadi who was supposed to be a Key prosecution witness indicated in his statement that XYZ stated to him that Sharon was constantly strangled by a man seated next to him at the back seat of the car. 

“He stated to me that he managed to jump off the vehicle near Kadero” reads the statement.

The case the case has been slated for further hearing on 7th March 2022.
