A gang of four hijacked a truck driver and killed him in efforts to steal coffee berries he was transporting from Uganda to Mombasa.
Police said they are looking for the men who abandoned the driver and his 20 feet truck in Mtito Andei along Mombasa Highway.
The truck was found on the roadside with the engine still running.
The driver’s hands had been tied and mouth sealed with celotape at the time the body was found behind the driver’s seat.
A team of detectives is investigating the incident.
