A family in Kinangop, Nyandarua County, may breathe a sigh of relief when their son, a KCSE candidate at Alliance High School, was located after going missing two weeks before the national exams.
Elisaphanson Kinyanjui was discovered in Ruiru just minutes after the story appeared on prime time news.
His father, Frederick Njoroge, told the media that his son was discovered making a phone call to his cousin.
Kinyanjui was supposed to take this year’s national exams, which started on Monday, March 14, but he went missing two weeks ago.
His bereaved family had demanded that the school authorities explain how the youngster had gone missing while in their care.
Kinyanjui’s father blasted the school administration for what he called neglect in an interview with the media.
