Ajax and Cameroon goalkeeper Andre Onana has been involved in a grisly road accident this morning along the Douala-Yaounde Road ahead of Cameroon’s World Cup play-off showdown with Algeria.
The 25-year-old Ajax star was on his way to the training camp in Douala where he was to meet his teammates of the Indomitable Lions when the terrifying incident occurred.
Fortunately, Cameroonian sources and media reports claim that the stopper escaped from the crash unhurt and there were no other casualties except for the vehicles in the collision.
That means Onana will remain available for Cameroon’s crucial World Cup playoff clash against Algeria on March 25.
