From the Orange Democratic Movement, Kajiado Governor Joseph Ole Lenku has switched to the Jubilee party (ODM).
Ole Lenku said the decision to move camps was taken after lengthy consultations with the electorate.Â
He also announced that he will defend his governor seat in the next August elections.
“I wish therefore to say that I have heard the voice of my people, I have taken their instructions and I have together with them moved to ODM. We believe in our larger family the Azimio la Umoja that will take Baba the 5th to statehouse.”
After meeting the defectors, Odinga expressed confidence in securing the presidential seat ahead of the August elections with the now-bolstered team.
“We are very happy today to welcome leaders from Kajiado County. Kajiado and we are one thing we have been kajiado for many more years. So on the 8th of this year my father will be a senior soldier.” Raila said.
