Evans Kidero, the former Nairobi County governor, is the most preferred gubernatorial candidate in Homa Bay County, according to a new poll conducted by Ziwani Africa.
44.1% of those who polled would vote for Kidero, 21.6% would vote for Homabay Member of Parliament Gladys Wanga and 15.3% would vote for Oyugi Magwanga.
However, 1.5% of Homa Bay respondents remain undecided.
In Homa Bay town Kidero had the best performance commanding 53.4% while in his hometown, Rangwe Constituency he commanded 51.2%.
His gubernatorial competitor Gladys Wanga managed to get 31.4% at Rangwe constituency.
