Junet: Attack On Raila Was Planned

Three MPs, Junet Mohamed (Suna East), Babu Owino (Embakasi East), and John Mbadi (Suba South), have been questioned by police in connection with the stoning of a chopper carrying ODM leader Raila Odinga in Uasin Gishu. 

They told detectives at the headquarters of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations that they believe the incident was staged. 

Raila was about to fly out of a funeral for politician Jackson Kibor when Junet and Babu recorded their statements as witnesses to the incident. 

They were summoned by DCI John Gachomo, the head of investigations, who stated that their questioning would aid in the ongoing investigation into the incident.
