The Amani National Congress (ANC) has announced over 1,800 candidates who will run for various positions in the August elections across the country.
Musalia Mudavadi, the party’s leader, presented the candidates with their nomination certificates on Monday at the party’s Nairobi headquarters.
“With the nominations out of the way, the real work of winning the August elections can begin.” Be the face of our political party. As he congratulated the candidates, Mudavadi said, “Our party slogan is peace, and I urge you all to maintain peace as you hit the ground.”Â
He challenged the candidates to get right to work and popularize their and the party’s campaigns.
