Raila said he helped Kingi right from the time he had completed school to become MP, then gave him two ministries and later also made sure he became governor but had now decided to abandon him.

“He told me that the people of the Coast are no longer interested wit ODM and wanted their own Party that’s why he came up with PAA, are you ready to fly?” he asked the public.

He told on the Coastal residents to remain firm and support him to ensure he becomes the fight president as he is the only one who has the agenda to transform the country.

Joho told Coast residents to remain loyal to ODM as they have supported the party for many years and are almost about to rip fruits of their sweat.

He however criticized Deputy president Wiliam Ruto for being in the Cabinet eating yet he was the one who has been criticizing it in his campaigns for president.

The Governor said instead of making noise that he is going to deliver if elected president why not put his demands to the president, he is sitting next to yet he is there in cabinet.

“I ask you are going to be fooled this way, personally I will not be fooled by such a person,” he said.

On his part Mung’aro said the same people who looted in Kilifi in the last 10 years have now ganged up again and joined Ruto’s camp to continue with their agenda.

He said all those who stole money in Kilifi County will not be spared if he formed government as they will bring out all the funds.

The former Cas said Kilifi has got so many problems of health, high poverty levels, low education standards.

“From the governor who has served for 10 years, the current Malindi MP also who has been the legislator what have they done how many women groups have benefitted from her.” He said referring to Jumwa and Kingi.

Junet on his part said Kingi has been promised a job by DP Ruto but he has to deliver 50 percent of the votes of Kilifi.

“I thought it was 50 votes only to learn it was 50 percent, and Mudavadi has been told to deliver 70 percent votes I had also thought it was 70 votes,” he said.

Ruto initially held a leader meeting in Malindi town before the rally in Msabaha and then held another rally at Kidutani in Kilifi.
