Two men were arrested for vandalizing campaign materials for Kirinyaga governor candidate Wangui Ngirici.
Anthony Mbogo, Brian Kamau, 22, and Ephantus Mureithi, 27, were arrested by officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations for tearing Ngirici’s banners at Kamugunda in Gichugu, Kirinyaga County, according to Gichugu OCPD.
The two will be charged with malicious damage in violation of Penal Code Section 339.
