Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua are wrapping up their three-day tour of Mt. Kenya with a series of rallies in Kirinyaga county.
On Tuesday, July 5, 2022, Raila and Karua began their first joint campaign in Mt. Kenya by touring Nyeri county.
On Wednesday, the duo campaigned in Kiambu, holding a series of rallies to entice voters to support their presidential bid.
Raila and Karua’s campaigns tour Kirinyaga county today, Thursday, July 7, for the final leg of their three-day tour of Kenya’s vote-rich region.
Raila and his entourage will begin their tour of Kirinyaga county with a rally in Kagio town, according to a timetable released by the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya secretariat.
The Azimio brigade will then hold rallies in Kerugoya, Kiayaga, and Kutus before concluding the Kirinyaga tour with a mega rally in Kirinyaga town’s Wang’uru stadium.
Raila and Karua will be accompanied by several leaders allied to the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance party.
