Locals also claimed that there was no response from the county’s fire engines, which exacerbated the situation at the scene and left many people without shelter.
The fire engines have been grounded due to a lack of insurance cover.
According to reports, the fire began in one of the affected structures before quickly spreading to others.
The residents have requested assistance in rebuilding the structures.
