If elections were held today, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) candidates for governor and senator in Kisii county would win, according to Tifa research.
According to a poll released on Thursday, Simba Arati of the ODM leads the gubernatorial race with 66% of the vote, followed by Ezekiel Machogu of the United Democratic Alliance with 11%.
Former Senator Chris Obure of Jubilee is ranked third with 3%, while incumbent Sam Ongeri ties with Samson Oyongois ranked with 2%.
The number of undecided voters remains at 15%.
In terms of political coalition support, TIFA found that Azimio la Umoja enjoys the most support at 57%, followed by Kenya Kwanza at 20%, 7%supports none while 16% of the respondents said they didn’t know.
In terms of presidential candidate popularity, Odinga has 61%, DP Ruto has 20%, Wajackoyah has 1%, while 17% are undecided.
Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka leads the senatorial race with 27%, followed by James Omingo Magara of Jubilee with 9% and incumbent deputy governor Joash Maangi of UDA with 5%.
Dominic Onderi, Samuel Okemwa, Richard Atemba, and Evans Emori are all tied at 1%.
However, the number of undecided voters in the Senate race remains at 51%.
Ex-radio presenter Donya Toto Doris Aburi is the favorite to win the woman representative race, with 32% of the vote, while incumbent Janet Ongera is second with 15%.
Theresa Bitutu is third with 3%, and Rachel Otundo rounds out the top four with 2%.
The margin of error is +-4.3%.
