Three employees of the County Government of Kericho and one employee of the Ministry of Lands have been arrested in relation to irregularities in the award of a tender.
According to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), the four were arrested on Tuesday in connection with procurement irregularities in the awarding of the tender for the Rehabilitation/Upgrading of Kerenga Airstrip in Kericho.
The officials include; Kibet Nelson, Evaline Chepkirui Marogo Ngeno, John Kiprono minei, and Geoffrey Komen Kibowen.
They will face four counts in the Anti-Corruption Court in Kericho on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
