Police Discover 364 Stems Of Bhang In Nakuru Home

364 marijuana stems were removed from a farm held by a suspect identified as Joseph Ng’ang’a of Solai Location, Nakuru County, by Solai Police officers accompanied by members of the local government. 

Although the suspect is still at large, efforts to have him apprehended and charged have increased. 

In a different incident, authorities from Unguja Police Station in Siaya County found 347 rolls of marijuana jammed in a suitcase and a safari bag that belonged to suspects who had made reservations to ride a bus to Nairobi.


When the suspects, who were thought to be teenagers, were questioned by the company staff about the contents of their luggage, they abandoned the haul and fled. 

To identify the culprits and the proprietors of the recovered substances, investigations are now being conducted.

“We remind the public, particularly parents, of their role in protecting children from any form of exposure to drug trafficking and abuse as envisaged by be Children Act No. 8 of 2001. Trafficking bhang is a serious offence and attracts hefty penalities.”
