Fave Blasts Kenyan Promoters ‘Wickedness’

Upcoming Nigerian singer Fave is calling out Kenyan event promoters for alleged bad treatment of her and her entourage. She had been playing the last edition of Thrift Social over the weekend.

The ‘Mr Man’ singer took to her social media to blast said promoters. “Kenyan fans thank you so much for the love but this has to be the worst hostile treatment we’ve ever received by show promoters. The last act of wickedness was cancelling our flights back to Lagos. No love. I wish you guys the best,” She revealed in a tweet.

She went to call them out, divulging more instances of mistreatment.”3 days in Kenya but you only set up one night’s accommodation for us. Now we wanna leave your country and we find out at the airport that you cancelled the flights. Why? Can somebody just tell me why?,” She lamented.

Concluding her long rant on her Instagram stories, Fave warned people (read artistes) about working with Thrift Social: “What a teaching experience. Where you hear Thrift Social Media, my advice would be to run because they’re a bunch of thieves – a lady on gaga and a couple of other guys.”

The 21-year-old crooner is an integral part of the new crop of Nigeria’s music generation.
