Ndung’u Back At Treasury

Former Central Bank Governor Njuguna Ndung’u is back at Treasury… this time as the custodian of Kenya’s wealth.

Ndung’u, the former Central Bank of Kenya Governor under President Kibaki and Uhuru has 9 lives.

He was in charge of the Kenya’s monetary policy when the economy blossomed..and comes back to his stomping ground.

Ndung’u hails from Murang’a County and is a celebrated economist.

He weathered the storm of the sale of the Grand Regency to Libya in 2008. The sale consumed the careers of then finance Minister Amos Kimunya.

Ndung’u, a graduate of the University of Nairobi and a former lecturer is a lethal economic planner who prides himself I’m mitigating economic shocks.

He published various economic journals on recovery following the 2007-2008 Post-election violence.
