The Office of the Directorate of Public Prosecution (ODPP) has always been on the move to eradicate Sexual Gender Based Violence (SGBV).
The SGBV division, with the support of UNODC-EA Plead-K, is conducting a three-day training course for SGBV focal persons from the 47 Counties at the Great Rift Valley on prosecuting SGBV offences.
The training included topics such as unpacking the needs of an adult learner and preparation of a training module.
Further, the training involves how to handle different offences under the sexual offences Act and in different Laws as well as procedural areas of concern in the prosecution of SGBV.
